The Urban Environmental Studies Research Group attended the 2015 Annual Conference for the American Education Studies Association. We presented as a collective a collection of papers titled 'STEAM Punks, Guerrilla Gardeners, and Critical Educators: Dialogues of Love and Care in Urban Environmental Studies'. My contribution to the group was a reflective paper, 'Dialogic relationship building in a critical classroom' about a critical moment in my environmental studies classroom.
